This is how I began to make sense of the Bible as a whole. I began to read it as a story. I took all the key people and events and lined them up in history. It was like creating a puzzle – taking all the big pieces and putting them together to make a picture. It sounds too simple, but putting everything together like that was not an easy task. It took me the last 15 years to do this and do it right.

I want to say that the book is among the most educational I have ever read. And that applies to all subjects I have ever studied … Simple language, but still not ‘simplifies’ the subject, and with clear markings and notifications when crucial passages and Bible verses are dealt with… When comparing how you use and refer individual verses and shorter Bible sections with other theological books, you have a system that makes your conclusions truly ‘sink in.’ You do not use too many Bible references, but you focus on key verses and let their meanings speak to themselves. I do not perceive it as you try to ‘show off’ with your knowledge, and you use Bible verses which are also generally considered to be decisive. And no matter what background the reader has. For example: Hebrews 8:8-13 and Jeremiah 31:31-40 is considered by both Catholics / Protestants: Conservatives / Liberals; followers of ‘the higher criticism’ / ‘fundamentalists’ to be about the “new Covenant” through Jesus Christ.
